We all have defining moments in our lives, challenging circumstances, relational pain and transitional seasons… how we react during these times has a direct impact on our future. We want to do life with you and be there through the good and through the challenging times, with a goal of providing you with helpful resources that will encourage you during the twists and turns of life. Our various support groups are made up of caring people interested in the support of others who are facing the challenges of life! It is our desire to present the love of Jesus Christ as the true source of hope and healing for those of us who are struggling. Please feel free to contact our Care & Support Ministry Team Leader, Chuck Peterman with questions.
Our Care & Support Groups
Throughout the ages, God’s plan and desire has been for a husband and wife to remain married for life and to raise up their children to know and love Him and to walk in His ways. At Creekside, we are very interested in preserving and strengthening marriages through our Marriage Mentoring Ministry. This couple-to-couple coaching ministry aims to help support and build stronger marriages in our church and community. In a private and comfortable setting, willing and trained volunteer mentor couples will meet with seriously dating, engaged, newly married or long-term married couples who want to be proactive in having a stronger relationship. Over a period of weeks together, they will go through a step-by-step marriage strengthening process aimed to identify and work through strong and weak areas in the relationship. To learn more about how you can partner with another couple to strengthen your marriage, please complete the form below. The first step in the marriage mentoring process is for both the bride/wife and groom/husband to submit the mentor request form below. The cost of this 10-week program is $50.00/couple. Please contact Mike & Tina Schultz with questions.

DivorceCare is a support group that meets weekly that will show you how to deal with the hurt caused by your separation or divorce. You’ll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an “oasis” in an otherwise difficult season of your life. There are three key parts to your DivorceCare experience: 1) Video seminar-Encouraging and information-packed videos featuring leading divorce recovery experts. 2) Support group- Small group discussion about the weekly video content and the issues faced by individual group members. 3) Workbook-Journaling and personal study exercises that reinforce the weekly session topics. You are welcome to begin attending our DivorceCare group at any point. Each session is “self-contained”, so you do not need to attend in sequence. You will be able to pick up any sessions you missed in our next 13-week cycle. Our DivorceCare group is led by people who have been through a divorce and successfully rebuilt their lives. Class meets weekly from 6:30-8:00 pm in Building 3. The cost is $20/person. Childcare available if requested. Please contact Kisha Brown with questions. Our next class starts on February 18th.
