WHAT IS CREEKSIDE KIDS?
Our goal in Creekside Kids is that through our age-appropriate teaching, worship, activities, and groups your children will fall in love with Jesus and develop their own personal relationship with Him. We want to partner with parents to build strong Christ-centered families, provide a safe and secure environment, and utilize the Orange Curriculum to teach children about the love of Jesus!
WHEN IS CREEKSIDE KIDS?
Thursday 7:00 pm and Sunday 8:30 am
These service times are quieter and less crowded for our families who enjoy a smaller church environment.
Sunday 10:00am and 11:30am
These services have a higher number of children for our families who like an energetic environment.
Wednesday Night 6:30-8:00 pm (meets September-November and January-April)
This an opportunity for mid-week worship, games, and Bible learning for children 2yrs to 5th grade and childcare for infants and toddlers while parents are attending an on-campus class.
Creekside kids values
The safety of all children in Creekside Kids is our number one priority. In addition to a secure check-in process, every volunteer and Staff Member undergoes a background check and thorough orientation process prior to serving.
We work together with parents to help disciple their children. Our goal is to partner with families by giving them resources to spark a conversation that will help develop future leaders and disciples of Jesus. We send out a monthly newsletter to let you know what is happening in Creekside Kids.
We have volunteers serve at the same service in the same classroom on a consistent basis. This helps to create an environment that will allow you to develop deeper relationships with children and fellow team members. At Creekside, we believe that relationship comes before discipleship.
Teaching children the love of Jesus in a safe and secure environment is our primary focus, but you can also expect to see and hear a lot of worship, games, and laughing! It is a big win for us when children leave Creekside Kids asking their parents when they can come back.
WHAT TO EXPECT
When you arrive, look for our Welcome Desk in the lobby. You will be greeted by one of our friendly Creekside Kids team members who are excited to meet your family and show you around. We will be with you every step of the way, all the way to your child’s room.
On your first visit, you will receive a security number that is specific to your family. The next time you join us, you can use your phone number to check in at one of our self check-in stations.
Upon checking in, you and your child will receive matching ID numbers specific to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion and you will need to keep the matching tag. After service, you will show the Creekside Kids teacher your matching tag for your child to be released from his/her room. If you lose your ID tag, you will be required to show your driver’s license in its place to our Children’s Ministry Staff member.
In the event that we may need to contact you during the service, we will post your Security ID number on the screen in the church service. We ask that you immediately meet the Creekside Kids staff member in the lobby who will direct you to your child’s room.
