Our High School Ministry exists to reach and connect students for Jesus Christ through building meaningful relationships. We seek to grow students who honor God with their lives and serve others out of a passion for Him. For our High School youth, this is the final stop before adulthood, and we feel it’s our job as a church to prepare them for the next steps! To prepare them, we make sure they have opportunities to regularly attend Worship service on Sunday mornings, building relationships with a community of friends from church, and to be a part of Sunday night Small Groups. From lock-ins, service projects, Wednesday Night activities, Youth SNL, and Small Groups to pick-up basketball games, concerts and special events we are thriving and have something for everyone! Please feel free to email our Student Minister, Eli Mathers with questions.
Regularly Scheduled Activities for High School Youth
Meets on Sundays from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Student Center
Leader: Eli Mathers
Description: High school students are in a season of preparation – relationships, school, or their future. They are setting down foundations that will springboard them into the rest of their lives. Everything we do at HSM is to help walk alongside high school students in this season of their lives, but most importantly, knowing and following Jesus along the way. We do that through three avenues: Social, Service, and Small Group. HSM is a Sunday night experience where high school students can find Christ and Community.
Meets on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Student Center
Leaders: Eli Mathers
Description: MDWK is our time to really come together as a Student Ministry (both Middle and High School) and grow together. At MDWK, we will have an open space for students to hang out and play games and study together. MDWK is a Wednesday night experience where students will always have a deep-dive Bible study and other classes to choose from. For the Fall 2020 semester, we will be studying the Book of Daniel and have a six-week class called “Single. Dating. Engaged. Married.” a study centered around having Christ prepare our hearts for each of these stages of relationships.
Costume Dodgeball: It’s time for Costume Dodgeball for CSM on Sunday, October 25th at 6:00-8:00 pm in the Student Center. Dress up, bring your friends, eat candy, decorate a pumpkin, and throw some dodgeballs! It’s going to be a ton of fun! All 6th-12th grade students are invited.
