At Creekside Christian Church, we believe we were created for relationships and that people thrive spiritually when they are connected in a small group environment. That is why Creekside offers many opportunities to become part of a small group. If you aren’t involved in a small group, you’re missing out on one of the best avenues for spiritual growth and for sharing life with fellow believers. There are 5 components to every small group: life change, relationship building, active participation, provide care, and identify future leaders. We offer two types of small groups at Creekside. Life Classes are typically on-campus and offer childcare, while Life Groups are held off-campus in peoples’ homes. Please explore our small group options and join one TODAY!
Our Life Classes are groups ranging from 15-50 people that meet at various times and locations throughout the week. The foundation of the class is for exploring specific topics and sharing to promote personal growth. Typically, classes meet for a specific period of time and usually include teaching, personal stories and smaller group discussion. Classes may include video series studies, book study, and verse by verse scripture study. Our Sunday Morning Life Classes are open to all adults so feel to join any class that best fits your schedule since they all offer the same curriculum. Life Classes that meet throughout the week cover various topics and are open to all adults, but some are gender specific. One of the great things about Life Classes is that you can drop in at any time and fit right in so if you are new and have never tried a Life Class before we encourage you to stop in and give one a try. A Life Group consists of 8-12 adults that meet twice per month in their homes to fellowship, study the Bible and pray for each other. In essence, they “do life together” in a warm, fun and friendly atmosphere. Your Life Group will become the place where you can be authentic and where people truly care about what is going on in your life. When we do life together our problems become smaller and God uses others in the group to bring healing, support, and encouragement to our lives. Also, Life Groups serve the community through service projects. Life Groups are for people that are genuinely committed to meeting twice per month and that want a small group where people get to know each other on a deeper and more personal level.
