Day 13: God With Us—Even Now

  -

God With Us—Even Now

Read: Matthew 1:22–23

“They will call him Immanuel—which means, “God with us.” (Matthew 1:23)”

Immanuel is not a seasonal slogan; it’s a permanent reality for those in Christ. God-with-us is true in traffic, at the office, during finals week, and in the waiting room. He is with you in celebration and with you in sorrow—never indifferent, always near.

Practice presence with His presence. Whisper breath prayers through the day: “You are with me.” Turn routine tasks—dishes, emails, errands—into small altars of gratitude. Parents, teach your kids to look for God’s presence by asking at bedtime, “Where did you notice Jesus with you today?”

At Creekside, we Know Christ by walking with Him, not just working for Him. Let Immanuel steady your steps today; you are not alone.

Reflect:

  • Where do you most need to remember “God is with me” today?
  • What simple reminder could help you practice His presence this week?
