Day 14: Good News for All People
Good News for All People
Read: Luke 2:8–14
“I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. (Luke 2:10)”
The first Christmas announcement arrives to night-shift shepherds—ordinary workers with ordinary worries. Heaven’s message is clear: the Gospel is for everyone. Not the polished. Not the religious insiders. Everyone. That includes your friend who says they’re “not spiritual,” your neighbor who feels alone, and the relative who has big questions.
Let that widen your heart. Pray by name for people God has placed near you. Invite them to church or your table. Share why Jesus matters to you in words that are simple and honest. Joy grows when it is shared.
At Creekside, we Go with Compassion because the news is too good to hoard. Great joy is an offer for every person. Be the kind of messenger whose presence hints at heaven’s good news.
Reflect:
- Who near you needs to hear and see good news this week?
- What is one step you can take
