Day 18 – Worship Like the Wise Men

  -

Worship Like the Wise Men

Read: Matthew 2:1–12

“They bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures. (Matthew 2:11)”

The magi traveled far, risked much, and gave generously—not to get something, but to honor Someone. Worship is more than singing; it is assigning ultimate worth to Jesus with our posture, our priorities, and our possessions. When He is the treasure, generosity becomes joy.

Open your “treasures” to Him—time, skills, resources, attention. Schedule worship into your week: gather with the Church, sing at home, and practice gratitude out loud. Parents, let your kids see you give and serve; explain that we give because God first gave to us.

At Creekside, we Go with Compassion fueled by worship. People who adore Jesus become people who reflect Jesus. Bow low, open wide, and rejoice—He is worthy.

Reflect:

  • What “treasure” is Jesus inviting you to open to Him this week?
  • How can your worship overflow into love for others today?
