Day 19 – God Wants to Be Known
God Wants to Be Known
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. (John 1:14)”
God did not stay distant; He moved into the neighborhood. In Jesus we see the glory, grace, and truth of God made visible. Christianity is not primarily advice to follow; it is news to receive: God came near so we could know Him.
Cultivate knowing, not just knowing about. Read the Gospels and watch Jesus with people. Talk to Him throughout your day. Ask, “What are You doing here, Lord, and how can I join You?” Parents, introduce your kids to the real Jesus—His kindness, courage, and compassion.
At Creekside, to Know Christ is our North Star. The more we know Him, the more we Grow in Community and Go with Compassion. Draw near with confidence; He came near first.
Reflect:
- What practice helps you move from knowing about Jesus to knowing Him?
- Where do you sense Him inviting you to know Him more closely this week?
