Day 22 – A Thrill of Hope

A Thrill of Hope

Read: Romans 15:13; Lamentations 3:21–23

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him. (Romans 15:13)”

Hope is not optimism; it is confidence in God’s character. Because Jesus came once and promised to come again, we anchor our hope beyond circumstances. When headlines are heavy and plans are uncertain, hope looks like steady trust and stubborn joy.

Feed your hope. Recall God’s past faithfulness. Name present graces out loud. Pray future promises back to Him. Parents, start a hope list with your kids—ways you’ve seen God work this year—and thank Him together.

At Creekside, to Know Christ is to abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Ask Him to fill you today with joy and peace as you trust, and let that hope overflow to others.

Reflect:

  • Where do you need a fresh infusion of hope?
  • What story of God’s faithfulness can you rehearse and share this week?
