Day 8: The Blessing of Believing
The Blessing of Believing
Read: Luke 1:39–45
“Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her! (Luke 1:45)”
Elizabeth’s Spirit-filled blessing names what’s happening in Mary: belief. Faith didn’t make Mary’s life easier; it made her life fuller—full of God’s presence, purpose, and promise. Belief anchors us when costs rise and unknowns multiply. It does not erase fear; it redirects it toward the One who is faithful.
Choose a believing posture today. Pray Scripture back to God. Say, “Let it be to me according to Your word.” Share a God-story at the table so your kids learn to connect daily life with divine faithfulness. Faith multiplies in community; your belief can become someone else’s courage.
At Creekside, we want everyone to Know Christ personally. Belief is not blind; it’s a clear-eyed trust that Jesus keeps His word. Step toward Him, and watch blessing follow—even in the hard.
Reflect:
- Which promise of God do you need to rehearse and believe today?
- Who could benefit from hearing how God has met you recently?
